PRODUCT OVERVIEW：

The composite tail seal brush innovatively combines spring steel plates and wire brushes within a single seal brush body to form a composite barrier with both rigid support and flexible sealing performance. Its typical structure consists of a corrugated steel plate at the front end and wire brush bundles at the rear end, which are integrally bonded onto a shared base via dedicated processes. The core feature of the composite tail seal brush lies in its integrated design of combining rigidity and flexibility. This design leverages the respective advantages of steel plate brushes and wire brushes to achieve a sealing effect of “1+1 > 2”.

APPLICATION SCENARIOS AND WORKING CONDITIONS：

· Tunnels with extremely high water pressure and great burial depth: such as river-crossing and sea-crossing tunnels, deep-buried mountain tunnels. Its composite structure can effectively resist ultra-high pressure. 

· Highly abrasive and highly permeable strata: such as large-grained sandy cobble strata, fracture zones and water-rich sand layers. Its wear resistance and sealing performance can be brought into full play. 

· Long-distance and continuous tunneling projects: which impose stringent requirements on the service life and reliability of tail seal brushes. The composite brush is designed to match the overhaul cycle of the shield machine and avoid mid-journey replacement.
